ASOS is one of my favorite online shops to snag chic clothes. They have recently launched their new Spring/Summer 2012 ASOS AFRICA Collection.
Sampling a color palette of rich tones, softened with neutral shades, ASOS AFRICA brings forth a contemporary collection with a sports luxe aesthetic, as rich Italian wools sit alongside traditional print fabrics, produced exclusively for ASOS AFRICA in Mombasa. Channelling a utilitarian vibe, the line re-interprets classic styles with a modern twist by experimenting with textures; expect slouchy jersey basics, shell tops and vibrant printed dresses with a clean sportswear silhouette.
The collection includes geo print hot pants, a block print pencil skirt, mombasa print tunic’s and more. This collection boasts an affordable price tag, ranging from $45 -$135.
ASOS AFRICA has pledged a portion from every purchase to benefit local communities in East Africa. This collection is produced in collaboration with SOKO Kenya, allowing underprivileged communities to establish sustainable, modern business through local craftsmanship.
