After taking a year off to enjoy motherhood, the Queen Beyoncé is back like never before, gracing the cover of GQ magazine’s February 2013 issue as the “Sexiest Woman of the 21st century”. Originally not scheduled to be released until the issue hits newsstands on January 15 , the GQ cover was leaked on Instagram of the R&B diva baring her amazing, curvaceous, post-baby figure in a Nike crop tee leopard panties made by Agent Provocateur, and her own thick gold chain.
Starting with the GQ magazine cover, Beyoncé is preparing for her highly anticipated comeback, including singing the National Anthem at the Presidential Inauguration, the premier of her HBO documentary, the rumored release of a new album, and the headlining of the NFL Super bowl. When asked in the interview with GQ about the Super Bowl performance, the singer says, “One of the reasons I connect to the Super Bowl is that I approach my shows like an athlete. You know how they sit down and watch whoever they’re going to play and study themselves? That’s how I treat this. I watch my performances, and I wish I could just enjoy them, but I see the light that was late. I see, ‘Oh God, that hair did not work.’ Or ‘I should never do that again.’ I try to perfect myself. I want to grow, and I’m always eager for new information.”
I look forward to seeing what Beyoncé has in store for us in this New Year. I’m positive she is going to uphold her all too deserving title and come back in full force like she never left. Ready or not, the Queen is gearing up and coming back with her head in the game!
