The proceeds from these sales help to fund various programs implemented for those in local communities whom have disabilities, lack education, or have trouble with finding employment.

The Salvation Army , like Goodwill, accepts gently used clothing, shoes , toys, furniture, and household goods. The Salvation Army donates everything they receive to the homeless and those who are underprivileged. Donators can either drop off their donations at the nearest location, call and schedule a pick-up, or set up a pickup online.

This organization takes the donated dresses and gives them to those who are not fortunate enough to be able to afford that fairy tale prom dress that all girls imagine. Soles4Souls is the perfect donating opportunity for the ladies out there who are addicted to shoe shopping! If you have boxes upon boxes of shoes that you no longer wear, Soles4Souls will gladly take them , as long as they are gently used, and donate them to those in desperate need of footwear all around the world.
