In celebration of their 20th anniversary, Kate Spade New York looked to Studio 54 glamour, Andy Warhol and the Big Apple itself as it’s inspiration for the Fall 2013 collection which was presented this past week at New York Fashion Week.
Styled by fashion stylist, Brad Goreski, the collection was filled with bright hues, bows, studs, metallic pant suits, patterned slim fit trouser pants, jeweled-collared blouses, tweed jackets, flouncy leopard print skirts, gold toe heels, and embellished outerwear. And who can forget the accessories? Complete with colorful “beau” bags, embellished gloves, and fancy hats. Creative Director, Deborah Lloyd definitely captured the essence of what the Kate Spade brand is about, living colorfully with classic pieces and a modern twist.
With the New York City taxi cab as the back drop, the collection was presented with models sporting big teased hair, red lipstick, and thick eyebrows, capturing that glamour girl, disco look while simultaneously being right on trend for the year of 2013.
The Kate Spade Fall 2013 collection is perfect for the glamorous girl, whether she’s going to work or out for a night on the town with her girls, she is sure to do it with style.
Here are some of our favorite looks from the collection.
