They make every day worth waking up for. “The higher the heel, the closer to God” Okay, a little exaggeration mixed with a little bit of the truth.
But shoes make the world go around one heel at a time! I love them all, flats, platforms, pumps, boat shoes, sandals and occasionally a pink tennis shoe. My closet is literally floor to ceiling shoes. What I want to knows from you is, Does comfort matter?
Don’t get me wrong. I love shoes, but some shoes were made for sitting, profiling across the room and walking straight to your designated seat.
Walking with the deliberate, slow paced, wedding aisle stroll also known as the “my feet hurt” walk is NOT chic. I know some women on the other hand would sacrifice comfort for style, but at what cost?
Researchers and doctors have long studied the effects that wearing heels does to a woman’s muscles, tendons and if over time the possibilities of heel related injuries. Men get the privilege of being comfortable most of the time.
What do you think? Will you sacrifice comfort for style? What is your breaking point for comfort versus style?
