Carol’s Daughter founder Lisa Price has taken on another area of beauty: salons.
Twenty years after founding her beauty-product company, Price is partnering with Georgia-based entrepreneur Robin D. Groover, owner of Groove Therapy Healthy Hair Care, who also revolutionized the Ceramic Fusion Styling Technique, to bring us the MIRROR salon.
The salons will promote healthy hair, with a focus on natural alternatives to chemical-based relaxers. Each client gets a consultation which includes a scalp analysis, density evaluation, porosity and elasticity test. Stylists will use clarifying shampoos, and create personalized cocktail of conditioners based on the test results.
Blowouts will start at $65, styles like twists and curls, starting at $85 and hair cuts and colors between $35-$45. In-store products will include Monoi Anti-Breakage Spray for $24, Monoi Split End Sealer, Serum and the new Anti-Breakage Spray.
A second salon will open in Atlanta in May.
