The final leg of the spring and summer 2014 menswear fashion shows are underway in Paris, and all eyes are on Balenciaga’s latest menswear collection under the artistic direction of none other than Alexander Wang.
It was classic Balenciaga, bold and structured, but with a Wang twist. That “twist” consisted of Wang’s preferred palette of black, white, and grey washed over a cool futuristic-meets-sportswear silhouette. Clean lines and impeccable tailoring also made the cut, along with subtle patterning, ombre, and a variety of textures ranging from leather to pleather.
