Oscar De La Renta has always been an award-winning designer and has over the years dressed leading figures, from film stars to royalties. However, his dresses were at no time accessible to the masses because of the high prices, until today. Oscar De La Renta introduced a second exclusive collection with The Outnet, and prices are now slightly affordable. The first collaboration between these two was lucrative, but this collection may be even more so due to Russian fashionista, Miroslava Duma, modeling the collection, its Christmas scheduling, and its affordability.
This collection will be showcasing De La Renta’s Spring 2014 runway attire. Prices will span from $325 for a lace tank to $1,095 for a floor-length gown. These low prices are due to the dresses, jackets and tops being made in the same factory as the main expensive collections but using surplus fabrics. It will include 20 unique chic pieces incorporating sleek floral prints, bright colors, and cotton-blend skirts. Here are a small number of pieces:
Duma is displaying a printed silk-mikado dress.
Classy silk -twill and wool-blend jacquard dress.
This is a floral-print silk and cotton-blend skirt, priced at $739.04
A tweed pencil skirt, priced at $615.86
These outfits will be available on December 17th at www.theoutnet.com.
