Born and raised in Port-au-Prince Haiti; Sheaffa Delince transitioned from the world of architecture to fashion design, infusing fashion with a refreshing, creative genius with garments that are gracefully refined. “Architecture is the art of living, clothing helps fashion who you are”; is her invigorative perspective that shapes her creativity and unique sense of style. Delince is not one to be encapsulated in a fashion trend or her work to be marketed to a particular genre. Vanessa Mukasa as an understudy at Vivienne Westwood and Osman, tailored her love for creativity via designing. Mukasa, a princess from the Bonyoro Kitara Kingdom in Uganda, hopes to raise awareness of women empowerment within Uganda and more so within her kingdom, to inspire other women to strive for greatness and not to give up. Bolivian designer Gustavo Garcia celebrates his roots by bringing a joyful, fun and unselfconscious vibe to casual wear. Living in the Afro-Bolivian part of his country,Garcia uses Chiffon, Cotton Jersey and stretch fabric offering women comfort and ease, yet showcasing a cultural fusion of contemporary fashions.
